Chicks In Crisis Awards & Recognition

Chicks in Crisis with Inez Whitlow’s guidance have garnered community support from Sacramento-area service clubs, businesses, media and individuals. Inez Whitlow extends her services as a member of the Family Life and Education Advisory committee for the Elk Grove School District.  Inez is also a mentor for the On Your Feet Foundation.

• 2010 - "I AM" Womens History Award from Empowering Relationships Inc.
• 2009 - e:merge and Retired General Colin Powell  – the Capital Region Pillars of Promises for a healthy start in the lives of babies.
• 2008 – e-Women Network, grant recipient working with women and children.
• 2007- Heart of a Hero award through Campus Life Connection, a non-profit organization that works with teens.
• 2006 - First Women of the Year award from the Sacramento City Council.
• 2006 - Women of the Year, Beta Sigma Phi.
• 2004 - Women Helping Women Award by the Soroptimist of the Sierra Nevada Region
